iOS 10 is happening soon!
This update redefines how the system works overall.
Updates are as follows:
-Apple’s 3D Touch will be more common in use due to its widget compatibility. By using 3Dtouch, the user can examine updates on what the app has to offer.
-Now on iMessage the user can draw out what they want to say to their friends. The update gives the user the freedom to write like they do on regular documents. “Your friends will see it animate, just as ink flows on paper.” iMessage also implemented “Tap to replace emoji”. This can be used for example with “I’m Happy” turning Happy “I’m ????” ! Swap out words with emoji – all with a simple touch.
-Apple’s Home app will transform iPhone’s, iPad’s and Apple TV’s into remotes for smart bulbs, door locks, thermostats, door bells and all sorts of gadgets that have bluetooth technology. iOS 10 is expected to make it into a front-facing feature for users.
-The “Slide to Unlock” feature will be irrelevant due to iOS 10 pushing the home button to activate IDtouch. This will be the new way for users to unlock their phone.
-Applications on your iPhone will have widgets that can be easily accessible within your lock-screen. This can be accessed through swiping to the right of your screen.
-iOS 10 will be compatible with iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6+, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad 3rd generation, iPad 4th generation, and iPod Touch 5th generation.
Do you think iOS 10’s updates will make it harder for users to navigate through apps?
